  • Balanced Deficit Diet (minus 500-1,000 calories/day = loss of 1-2 lbs./week for 6 months)

  • Increased Physical Activity (moderately 30 to 45 minutes, 3 to 5 days a week)

  • Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (self-monitoring, data collection, stimulus control, food availability and choices, psychological triggers, environmental cues, contingency management, cognitive restructuring, social support, etc.)
