Dr. Marshall Colt is an expert in adult ADD/ADHD and offers one-to-one attention deficit disorder (ADD) testing and counseling/coaching for those 18 and older in the San Diego, California area to help you with your possible ADD / ADHD symptoms.  We do not see those under 18 years.  Simply click ADHD San Diego for your complimentary, adult ADD phone consultation in San Diego...no risk, no obligation.  In a safe, confidential environment, you'll also learn about the types and many facets of ADD signs and symptoms and how it can harm relationships, if left undiagnosed and untreated.

Dr. Colt’s diagnostic ADD testing process requires two one-hour meetings.  In the first meeting, an in-depth, extensive history is taken.  Some paper-and-pencil tests (considered the “gold standard” in diagnosing adult ADD/ADHD) are also administered.  The goal is to determine (a) if a person has ADD/ADHD, (b) to what degree, and (c) what type, as there is more than one type of ADD.  In the second meeting, the test results are reviewed, possible treatment options are discussed and a treatment plan is conceived.

Dr. Colt's clients have said:

"Hi Dr. Colt, {Name] here.  I just wanted to drop you a line and let you know how things are going.  I've really seen a difference in my life since our sessions.  I feel I have really gotten control over my emotions as well as my outlook on things in general.  I doubt in your field you get enough positive response, so let me say how wonderful it was to work with you and how big of an impact you made on my life.  You have a very warm and sincere manner that made me feel very comfortable your call.  Occasionally people find the perfect avenue for their skills.  You have done that indeed.  I hope one day our paths cross again.  Who knows, maybe I'll run into you in San Francisco.  Take care and the best to you and your family.  Deepest Regards, [Name]"

" Dr. Colt...Last evenings session was incredibly enlightening and helpful in understanding what most likely triggered my initial reaction and reason for seemingly not being able to "let go" for such a long period of time.  Having identified that long buried incident, it is much easier to understand and be able to move forward with the Intellectual/Emotional Integration that we discussed.  I think the most frustrating part of all of this sort of "stuff" is the lack of understanding as to "why".  You helped me identify the "why".  It wasn't fun then, nor even discussing it last night...but it needed discussing.  Unfortunately, [Name], my incredibly patient, understanding and loyal wife of XX years has borne the brunt of my frustration for the past six months.  I've got a lot of ground to make up with her.   I am hopeful that you will be able to help [Name] in your session with her tomorrow.  She needs, as she put it, ' the magic rubberband .'  Thanks again and thank you too for following up on the receipts. " -- B.G.

"I've been in counseling several times before.  This is the first time I feel there're changes taking place.  Before I felt like I was just putting band-aids on."  --  H.P.

"You were fantastic.  I had quite a bit to think about after talking to you and I greatly appreciate you taking your time and sharing your expertise with me." -- V.A.

"I feel that it really helps me when I see you and I do not want to wait 10 days in between appointments if I do not have to." -- T.R.

"Dr. Colt - Hi, I just wanted to say thank you for our counseling session last night.  I think you did a great job, and I feel like you can really help me.  I was definitely tense and nervous, as I've never done this before, but I want you to know that I do feel like I can trust you, and that I think that I can become very comfortable with you.  You were right when you said that it would be hard, but I know that it won't get better without going through the hard stuff first.  I look forward to our next session....  Thanks again." -- S.K.

If that sounds appealing to you, just click San Diego ADHD for a complimentary, confidential, adult ADD phone consultation in San Diego to discuss your attention deficit challenges with Dr. Colt and learn how he may be able to help you.
